OUR STORY
My name is Deb, a goat farmer and mom of two silly hooligans.
I set out to learn how to crochet a tiara for my daughter's birthday.
After several abysmal failures, I almost gave up and told myself I probably would never figure it out.
Then I got mad and decided that a hook and string wouldn't get the better of me, even if it took forever- I was going to win.
Then I found amigurumi.
Many, many, MANY wonky projects later using commercial patterns from books I bought at my LYS, I finally had finished products that were capable of selling.
After a few seasons of commission work, I came across a amigurumi design contest for "Mythical Creatures", and gave designing from my own brain a try.
If you want to learn something, go for it, you don't know where it will take you...
On this site I will tell stories of our farm and the muddle of learning new skills, from crochet to making our own goat milk soap.
In the shop portion of the site I will have my crochet patterns and (when seasonably available) goat milk soap and other items that we produce on our farm.
Thank you for stopping by, feel free to make yourself at home!
